WHAT WE DO

The Animal Nursery volunteers coordinate the animal nursery display at the annual Stanthorpe Show where patrons can go can see young farm and domestic animals. It is acknowledged that there are social and educational benefits from adults and children in particular, having the opportunity to see, interact and handle some animals. Therefore the animal nursery display at the show introduces children, and some adults, into the identification and welfare responsibilities of caring for farm and domestic animals.
