WHAT WE DO

 

The Cookery subcommittee is made of up of volunteers responsible for coordinating and arranging the Cookery, Preserves in Jars and Fine Decorated Artistry competitions and displays that take place at the show each year.

 

Entrants are invited to enter baked or preserved goods in the classes listed in the show schedule and it is the Cookery subcommittee's responsibility to manage and display the entries, along with coordinating the judging of the entries culminating in the awarding of prizes, trophies and prize money.

 

The Cookery section of the Stanthorpe Show provides opportunities for new and experienced cooks to show off their baking and preserving skills and decorating talents. The competitions are open to cooks of all ages and both genders (see show schedules for details).
