MEETING ROOMS FOR HIRE

If you are looking to host a meeting, conference or workshop, and need a building to suit, Stanthorpe Showgrounds has the meeting room that will suit your needs.

The ringside meeting room was a new addition to Stanthorpe Showgrounds in 2016 which enabled the final move from the tiny office in the Cairnsmoor Building in Maryland St, Stanthorpe. Now it is used on almost a weekly basis for the general committee and the subcommittees to conduct meetings at the showgrounds. The facility doubles as the headquarters for the Stanthorpe Pony Club with whom the Stanthorpe Agricultural Society has an ongoing lease. The ringside meeting room is available to outside groups to host meetings, conferences or workshops and can be tailored or configured to suit your needs. 

The ringside meeting room measures 12m x 6m (72 square metres) with:

  • a 3m x 3m (9 square metres) office sectioned off for Stanthorpe Pony Club, and

  • a 3m x 3m (9 square metres) office sectioned off for the kitchenette

  • Total available space = 54 square metres.

 

The verandah on the southern side measures an additional 12m x 4m = 48 square metres.

The capacity of the ringside meeting room is:

  • approx. 26 people sitting

  • approx. 52 people standing.

 

The features of the ringside meeting room are as follows:

  • 12m x 6m demountable building

  • air conditioning

  • kitchenette with sink, zip boiler and fridge

  • verandah overlooking main show ring

 

 The ringside meeting room can be used for the following:

  • meetings

  • conferences

  • workshops

Fees to hire the ringside meeting room start from $50/hr for part day events. Whole day or multi-day events are quoted on a case by case basis.

RINGMASTER'S CAFE DINING ROOM

 A new addition to the suite of meeting rooms at Stanthorpe Showgrounds includes the Ringmaster's Cafe Dining Room. This new facility creates a more intimate dining experience in a room dedicated to dining. But of course, this space can double as a meeting room when needed. 

The Ringmaster's Cafe dining room measures 24m x 12m (288 square metres).

 

The verandah on the northern side measures an additional 36m x 6m = an additional 216 square metres if required.

 

The capacity of the Ringmaster's Cafe dining room is:

  • approx. 64 people sitting

  • approx. 150 people standing.

 

The features of the Ringmaster's Cafe dining room are as follows:

  • 24m x 12m space

  • air conditioning

  • tea/coffee station with urn, supplies and fridge

  • verandah on northern side overlooking main show ring

 

 The Ringmaster's Cafe dining room can be used for the following:

  • meetings

  • conferences

  • workshops

Fees to hire the Ringmaster's Cafe dining room start from $50/hr for part day events. Whole day or multi-day events are quoted on a case by case basis.

Housed in one of the the oldest building on the showgrounds site, the tea pavilion kitchen annex is a perfect function room for small meetings or events.   

The tea pavilion kitchen annex measures 12m x 6m = 72 square metres.

The tea pavilion kitchen annex could comfortably provide for approx. 10 people seated or 20 people standing.

The capacity of the tea pavilion kitchen annex is:

  • approx. 10 people sitting

  • approx. 20 people standing.

 

The features of the tea pavilion kitchen annex are as follows:

  • Historical wooden structure

  • Concrete floor

  • Fully weatherproof

  • Fully lockable

  • 1 main access points
