WHAT WE DO

The Wine subcommittee is responsible for coordinating and arranging the beer, wine and Italian home preserves displays and competitions that take place at the show each year.  All the while, the hard working band of Wine committee members, many of them life members, will be working to provide a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere for family groups and wine aficionados alike, while they cook up fantastic pasta and BBQ burgers. ​

The Wine subcommittee also host the Australian Small Winemakers Show each year. This competition is the only National Show held exclusively for wineries crushing under 500 tonnes. It showcases the best these wineries can coffer and the the Gold and Silver medal winners are eligible to enter the National Wine Show of Australia. The Australian Small Winemakers Show concludes with a public tasting event where you can taste the best of the best.
