FIBRECRAFT AND HANDSPUN
WHAT WE DO
The Fibrecraft & Handspun section at the Stanthorpe Show is run by the Granite Belt Spinners and Weavers group. As part of their contribution to the Stanthorpe Show, the Granite Belt Spinners and Weavers volunteers are responsible for coordinating and arranging the fibrecraft and handspun competition and displays that take place at the show each year. They also coordinate the judging of the entries culminating in the awarding of prizes, trophies and prize money.
The Fibrecraft and Handspun section of the Stanthorpe Show provides opportunities for new and experienced crafters to show off their skills and talents. The competition is open to crafters of all ages and both genders (see show schedule for details). Entrants are invited to enter handmade items in the fibrecraft and handspun classes listed in the show schedule.
