What are the dimensions and capacity of the sheep and wool pavilion?


The sheep and wool pavilion's full perimeter measures approximately 20m x 20m = 400 square metres.

The non-COVID capacity of the sheep and wool pavilion is:

  • approx. 100 people sitting
  • approx. 200 people standing.
The COVID capacity of the sheep and wool pavilion is:
  • approx. 50 people sitting
  • approx. 100 people standing.
NOTE: the wine pavilion is not considered to be a confined space.




What are the features of the sheep and wool pavilion?


The features of the wine pavilion are as follows:

  • Combination wooden slatted floor and concrete floor

  • Large open plan space

  • Multiple side rooms

  • Rustic country atmosphere

  • Amenities nearby

The Stanthorpe Showgrounds sheep and wool pavilion is one of the iconic buildings on the showgrounds site. Built and managed by the Stanthorpe Agriculutral Society's sheep and wool subcommittee, it serves now as the perfect function room for smaller events wanting that country atmosphere. Common questions about the sheep and wool pavilion are answered below.
